Letting Myself Off the Hook
Today’s email looks a little different. Because I needed some ease and gentleness and kindness and love. Because I’m telling myself that things can be easier and I’m believing it. Because I am grateful for the relief of letting myself off the hook. I had a hard day and I am so very grateful to have my feet up. And to keep my relaxing mode going as I type this. Days like this remind us that gratitude is really a choice. Sometimes our gratitude emerges naturally and other times we choose to find gratitude no matter what. I’m grateful for family traditions and my family members who keep them alive … I’m grateful for having money to fix the damage because sometimes money is the fix you need … I’m grateful for saying I love you and hearing it too … I’m grateful for practicing gratitude for so long that even on bad days I find something to be grateful for.
Be kinder to yourself. And then let your kindness flood the world.

In what ways were you grateful you were kind to yourself today?
FORGOTTEN GRATITUDE: Last week I was also grateful for Surplus not peeing on the bathroom rug (so far this winter).
